This class is ideal for those who are new to crochet as the pattern is easy. One of the main goals is to learn how to follow crochet instructions with an understanding of the pattern stitches and techniques as well as the language and crochet terminologies. Mari Lynn will also teach some of the specialized elements that she has devised in crochet for finishing that can easily be translated into betterment of your knitting design as well. Materials: Worsted wool yarn 100g/220 yd balls. The jacket sample is made in Baby's Size 1 and takes 3 balls of yarn. The instructions for this design will be sized for Baby's/Child's Sizes 1(2, 3-4, 5-6) and the yarn required using this same yarn is 3(3, 4, 4) balls. And the crochet hook needed is size I/9(5.5mm) and the design will also take four 1-inch/25 mm buttons. HOMEWORK: Bring your chosen wool worsted yarn and crochet hook.
