Service Description

Learn Fair Isle Technique to expand your knitting skills to the very broad category of beautiful traditional Fair Isle Knitting ! Fair Isle knitting is a classic Colorwork method that traditionally uses just 2 Colors on any given row. When working Fair Isle, always cross one color over and the other color under to produce Colorwork that is neat and even. In this class, you will be working on a hat design that is worked flat using DK weight yarn in 2 color-block colors( here, red and orange OR, light grey and burgundy) with small amounts of 2 Fair Isle chart colors (either burgundy and white OR medium grey and yellow). You can also use 4 colors in a DK weight yarn of your choice. HOMEWORK: Begin the hat with the lower Rib and 8 rows of Stockinette Stitch, ready to begin the Fair Isle Chart.
