Service Description

Learn how to plan pool those beautiful consistent variegated yarns that we love to hate when our projects become muddy and unreadable. Planned pooling is a technique in which you figure out the number of stitches it takes for each color change and then plan accordingly. Once you know your magic number, you can create beautiful fabrics with your variegated yarn. The goal of this class is to create a small bag using one skein of hand-dyed cotton yarn. Materials needed: one skein of Great Adirondack Anna (three color repeats will create gingham and 5-6 will create plaid), scissors, 2 Stitch Markers, 3.5mm hook 4mm hook and 4.5mm hook (usual gauge very tight or very loose increase or decrease the required hook size accordingly) Materials can be purchased before class with a 10% class discount.
